Tryline Watchalong 7

When we started our weekly watchalongs in March, we didn't think we would still be going as we entered May! As we will be without rugby league for a while, we will keep going every Saturday too!

This weekend, our eye turned to the original Million Pound Game between Wakefield and Castleford in 2006. The loser would go down. The winner would survive. It was all on the line.
Castleford Lead Early

Wakefield did open the scoring with a penalty, but Castleford responded with 11 unanswered points.

Wakefield's Half Time Lead
There may have been a touch of fortune with both, but Wakefield's quickfire double gave them a half time lead.

Back & Forth
The topsy-turvy game carried on in the same vein in the second half!

Wakefield Take Control
The game was in the balance and it was Wakefield who took control to secure their Super League status.

Celebration Time!
The full time siren sounded and Wakefield could celebrate their most incredible escape!
