My Favourite Game
The other week, on Twitter, we asked rugby league fans to share memories of their favourite game in their time watching the sport. And many of you got involved.
We kicked off the proceedings with a heart-stopping World Cup semi final!
Meanwhile, whilst a painful memory for Huddersfield, who could forget Leeds taking one step closer to the treble?
We would love to hear stories of your favourite game too! Just comment below or get in touch on Twitter (@TrylineBlog).

Pick the best #rugbyleague game you have seen and nominate 2 of your followers to do the same!
For me, it's England vs Tonga at #RLWC2017. The colour, noise, drama and culture. Perfection!
Your turn, @RugbyLambo @ALooseWire ? pic.twitter.com/TjsYop9353
Others soon joined in. This one a recent memory. London Broncos just minutes from relegation and pulled it out of the bag to take the relegation battle to the final day!
I would say Hull KR v London Broncos, September last season. The way the Broncos never gave up and snatched a dramatic win right at the end was the best sporting moment I’ve ever been involved in! Incredible!— Alex Lambe 🏉 (@RugbyLambo) March 27, 2020

Ok, sorry for that reminder Huddersfield fans! Let's try and make up for it. When Huddersfield stunned St Helens in the 2009 Challenge Cup Semi Final!
Three for one here! The highlight being the "Wide to West" try - surely the most dramatic moment in Super League history? The #challengecup semifinal victory over @Saints1890 to secure a #wembley final. Great day, great game, great result. #myfavouritegame #RugbyLeague I nominate @TimGalsworthy @DavePhotoLens— Tony Townend (@tonytownend) March 28, 2020

That's a selection of the responses received, but in our time of lockdown, sometimes looking back at better times helps! Can’t look past the last day of the regular season 2011, winning the league leaders shield away @hullfcofficial (pipping Wigan by a point) and then the coach journey home!! Friday night @SuperLeague at its best! I nominate @_jack_reynard_ https://t.co/GnQiBq9TNZ— Matt (@MattEFC3) March 28, 2020
